Designing a mood board is one of my favorite steps in the design process. What makes mood boards so fun is that they aren't strictly for design purposes but essential in any creative process. They help you visualize your goals, whether they be personal or professional, a mood board is always a great starting point. I love using illustrator as my go-to for my mood boards. I personally find it a lot easier to work with colors and different features within the program. One of my favorite places to find photos and ideas is pinterest. There are so many inspiring accounts and having a mood board is such a fun way to organize ideas and get a visual concept together. Along with a brand style guide, mood boards can help solidify the visual ideals for your brand. Play around with some ideas, throw images together and find what feels right. Because I'm a visual person  I tend to have an idea or image in my mind that relates to the brand I'm working with before I get started. I'm currently loving these fall tones that seem to take an autumnal twist of nude summer hues. Slowly transitioning to fall with whites mixed with burnt oranges and richer neutral tones. So happy no white after labor day is no longer a thing because I'd be so out of date. Whites + greiges are forever! Excited to share some more fall inspiration and things that I'm loving lately. I hope this inspires you to get creating, mood boards really are for everyone!
